Race route

The 10k and 5k are both point to point routes, starting out on the Pentland Road before entering the Castle Grounds at Marybank Lodge and finishing next to the Golf Club car park. The route has very little uphill and is normally very quick!

The 5k route is the last 5km of the 10k route pictured below.

Runners will be bussed out to the start of both races from the Golf Club car park. Please don’t take your cars to the start of either race as space out on the Pentland Road is very limited, and the busses need to be able to turn.
