What this means is if weather has been fine and dry then it’s ‘Up the Clisham’ 6km/650m, course rec 42mins and if weather isn’t fine then it’s ‘Round the Liuthaid’ 8km/590m, rec 54min. Over 18s only.
Both are at A hill races of the short variety which also means bumbag with waterproof body cover including hat+gloves+compass+whistle are required
Saturday 16th September, Harris Mountain Festival Hill Race, Urgha-Rhenigidale and back. 12KM/880m records 67 and 86mins respectively
Registration, North Harris Trust Office, 3.30-4PM, £5
Cat A/Medium Hill race, so runners required to carry full body cover. Over18s only
