WI CHAMPS 2017 – SATURDAY 3RD JUNE! GET YOUR ENTRIES IN ! :-)

SRAC’s busy season continues apace !

After the Stornoway Half Marathon, 10K and Fun Run this weekend, we’ve got THE WESTERN ISLES TRACK & FIELD CHAMPIONSHIPS  next Saturday! That’s Saturday the 3rd of June.

For those of you new to it the events on offer are pretty much as we had at the first 2 events of the season – the Spring & May Open Graded Meetings.

We had a great SRAC junior turnout then so let’s make sure we have the same this time, when there will also be some medals up for grabs !  So get involved in what will be a great day of fun and sport.

It’s for Seniors as well as Juniors remember too, and one thing that may be of particular interest to seniors is the 5000m event, one event a number have asked for but we only had one running at the May OGM.

Let’s see if we can get a decent turnout for that event this time. There are medals too !

Entries need to be back for midnight next Tuesday – Tuesday 30th May –  so don’t delay !
